NAMIC Online Exchanges The NAMIC Online Exchanges are moderated, online discussion forums for employees of NAMIC member companies. The Exchanges serve as places to pose technical questions, seek advice, and share knowledge with your peers in an “electronic community”. Participating is easy: all you need is an e-mail account. Online communities are a great way to get a quick answer or bit of advice from your peers, and NAMIC is pleased to be able to offer this service to its members. The following NAMIC Online Exchanges are currently available:
To participate, you must be currently employed by a NAMIC member company. If you are not sure whether or not your company is a member of NAMIC, or would like information on how to join, please contact us at 1-800-336-2642. How to join. Send a blank e-mail message to one of the following addresses, depending on which group you wish to join. The NAMIC Online Exchanges are private mailing lists: all requests to join the lists are reviewed by NAMIC prior to approval. Once approved, you will receive a welcome message with instructions and guidelines for getting the most from the service, and you will begin to receive messages sent by other members of the group. Some messages may appear to be from “Lyris ListManager”, which is the software used by NAMIC to provide this service. Once you successfully join a NAMIC Online Exchange, you will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions for getting the most out of the service. |
